Born in 1961 Gilberto Jordan is graduated in Economics (ISEG - UTL) and is CEO of the André Jordan Group.
The Group was responsible for the development of the renowned 700 hectar Quinta do Lago resort and the redevelopment of Vilamoura, a 1700 hectare, 40,000 bed, all year Sport, Sea, Leisure and Convention Resort, both in the Algarve. It is also the developer of the 500 hectare Belas Clube de Campo, a 2,600 unit up-market residential development in Lisbon with an 18 hole championship golf course, among many other features and of the residential development The Residences at Victoria Golf Course, in Vilamoura.
A leader in environmental management, Gilberto Jordan also occupies responsibilities in several companies, associations and foundations among which, SELECTA, a real estate fund and asset management company with € 400 million assets under management, since 2005; was Chairman of ULI Portugal, and Co-Chairman of the Urban Land Institute Europe Resort Development Council. From 2004 till 2006 he served on the Organizing Committee of the Lisbon Property Fair & Conference, being its President in 2006. He is also on the International Advisory Board of Fundación Metropoli, Madrid and was Board Member of Green Globe UK and of AREAL, the Algarve Regional Agency for Energy and Environment.
